Agreement with Adap.tv

The Board of Mooter Media Limited (ASX: MMZ) today announced that the Company had entered into a Web Services Agreement with Adap.tv of San Mateo, California, for the supply of Mooter’s contextual advertising services to the Adap.tv video network.
Online video is a rapidly growing form of online media consumption and Adap.tv is a leading video ad platform, experiencing rapid growth in their distribution network. Contextual video advertising is a highly successful ad format, generating high response rates due to the user’s attention to the video content.
Video ads are a new distribution mechanism for Mooter, although the Company will be able to leverage the ads it currently delivers to publisher web pages as the source of ads to be delivered to Adap.tv content.
This agreement with Adap.tv will leverage Adap.tv’s ability to contextually analyse video content with Mooter’s ability to deliver highly relevant ads into a content framework. The agreement also leverages Mooter’s ability to provide a single gateway to multiple ad inventories, providing distribution into the Adap.tv network easily for all of Mooter’s ad network customers.
The Agreement is for an initial term of 12 months with automatic extension. Revenue from ad delivery will be shared between Adap.tv and Mooter, but the precise terms and conditions in the Agreement are commercially sensitive and confidential between the parties.
